New Lighthouse Building Open
After years of prayer and faithfully serving those in need, The Lighthouse Ministry opened a new facility with plenty of space for food and clothes and to offer people spiritual guidiance.
This new facility, located across the street from the main building at the Henderson Campus (directly behind the Adult Ministry Center) was made possible through your RELENTLESS gifts.

Savannah Christian Church Dedicates New Spaces
In December, Savannah Christian Church dedicated the new spaces added during recent construction, including children’s areas, an adult ministries building across the street from the main building, and a new Lighthouse Ministry building. Lighthouse provides food and clothes to local people in need.
Work on this project took eight months and a construction budget of $9.4 million. The project was funded through SCC’s relentless campaign by money that was pledged and donated by Savannah Christians above their normal tithe and offerings.
“Through the sacrificial generosity of our church, we will now be able to introduce more children to Jesus and lead them into a deeper relationship with Him,” said Kathryn Johnson, the Director of Campus Operations. “Our adults will now have much-needed fellowship, instructional, and discipleship space in the new Adult Ministry Center and after years of operating out of temporary spaces, our Lighthouse benevolence ministry will have a permanent home.”
By the numbers:
Savannah Christian Church added more than 26,000 square feet of new construction to their Henderson Campus location and renovated more than 37,000 square feet.
· Added 8,851 sq. ft. for an expanded lobby, bookstore, meeting space and prayer room
· Added 11,428 sq. ft. for new Children’s Auditorium and Family Gathering space
